I want to make my mom one of those small garden/park benches for her birthday. She saw one before and she loved it. Its made of all wood, with (I think) wrought iron sides and legs. Its a very simple piece. Im not sure where or how to get the iron pieces though. I have searched online and all I can find is the bigger benches. What Im looking for is the type of bench that maybe children can sit on, but mostly for decoration. Its about 4 feet long at most and maybe 2 feet high? It's a fast world. Those words keep rolling around in my head. You probably know the feeling. It's hard to keep up with anything anymore! That's why this garden bench is such a great project. I did it for the Southern Pine Awareness Network as part of our 2009 campaign to promote awareness. The plans were provided by Southern Living magazine. I have a pond, with a rose garden on the back side , a flower bed on the end ,a bench on the front side and a water fall on the end. I'm at my old house that I had about 4 years ago and my sister threw me out to the back yard out of the back door. THe backyard is all dirt except for this really ugly garden where my sister threw my and everyhting in the garden was gross and i sat on a bench until my sister came to help me. I kept on fusterating trying to find a way of the bench to jump backinto the the house because the back door was open. THen my sister comes and pokes her head & hand out to help and in the direction the puts her hand out its the end of the bench which in right next to the door suddenly. Still I take her hand and go inside as I go in a cut my self. No blood come of then suddenly I fel this heat on the top of my left hand and there is blood all over it!
