It's for an english assignment (i'm in grade 9) but I don't know how to end it. Please help me!! Your Eyes I tried to hide my agonising expression by replacing it with courage and joy. I wasn’t going to fool anyone. I walked slowly through the school gates anyway. I’d been away from school for a long time and I wondered what Mr Adams had told my friends. Maybe he told them I went to Alaska to see my grandma, or I was terribly ill and no one could see me because whatever I had was highly contagious. Either way, it didn’t matter now. I managed to get to my locker without being noticed. Maybe I could get through the whole day being invisible. The row of lockers looked the same as usual, with students lining the walls talking and moving about. It felt good to finally be back with other people. While I was putting my books away, I heard a familiar voice coming from behind me. “Abigail? Is that really you?” said the surprised voice. I turned around and looked at his face. He had changed so much since I had last seen him. “William. Of course it’s [more..]

Growing orchids does not have to be as difficult as many may think. But you do need some basic knowledge of the plants. Before buying your first orchid a good idea may be to get a book on orchids care. The more you know about how to care for your plant the more fun you will see it really is.But just like with anything, if you treat it wrong it may, or will, break. Now, orchids don?t break but you could find yourself with a plant that does not grow the way it should or it may even die. What do you do when your plant is dying, or at least not growing the way it should be? Throw it away? There is a technique called "Sphag-n-Bag" that very well could save the plant. Basically you create a small, very small, greenhouse right in your home. It?s really quite simple. In short, this is how you do it:Trim off any damaged or dead roots with a blade. Gently remove?as much as you can of any?organic media attached to the roots.Mix a teaspoon of rooting hormone compound in about a gallon of water. The temperature of the water should be somewhere?between 75-85 degrees F. [more..]

I have summarised 10 essential things you need to consider when buying a garden room or home office from a UK manufacturer or supplier. Below are the vital things to consider prior to making a purchase, as obviously whenever buying a new garden office, room, building etc you want to ensure you are getting value for money and making the right purchase, for the right reasons. These tips are universal, as they apply whether you are buying a contemporary modern garden-room or an eco-friendly garden office, whatever the garden building or living space. Here are a list of 10 keys things you need to consider:1. Decide what function your new garden living space will be used for - and ensure that the design can meet these requirements. If it is going to be a garden office then you may require a garden room manufacturer that offers more electrics and good natural lighting options. Although I would advise not too much light if using computer screens or displays, as these can be a little sensitive to too much natural light. If it is a gym or hot tub enclosure you want, then you will naturally require good ventilation. As a home cinema you [more..]
Ok, so my fiance and i have been together for 5 years and we have two young kids. He has always been into "country living". His friend has said that he would like to sell his condo and buy some land in the BC interior (Canada). And its cold there! It snows sometime 8 months a year! I'm lucky on Vancouver island because i think its the tropics of Canada, it is strange for me to see more than a week of light snow. Anyways, my finace and his friend want to buy some land out in the wildness and be pioneers or whatever. They want to chop down trees and build homes, grow our own garden for food, use solar energy and get our water from a creek. We'd have no running water, no flushing toilet, no corner store, no school for the kids, no hospital, police, etc.. nothing. We'd be completely self sustaining. Now i'm sure we'd be close enough to drive an hour or more to get to civilization, so we wouldn't be entirely isolated. I hate this idea! I've said i don't want to, its alot of work to go pioneering, raising kids, livestock, growing a crop large [more..]
